The Kinette Club of Calgary is a vibrant group of women dedicated to Serving the Community’s Greatest Need. Throughout the years, this need has taken many different forms. The club began in 1948, and has continued to support a variety of charities and causes to date. Most recently, the club has donated time and/or funds to: YWCA Sheriff King Home (shelter), Feed the Hungry program, Cystic Fibrosis, Easter Seals Camp Horizon, National Disaster Fund, and the Kin Canada Bursary program.
The restrictions that the original Calgary Kinettes faced are no longer a part of this club. We do not have an “upper age limit”, and you do not have to be married to a Kinsmen. If you are a woman between the ages of 18 and 118, looking for fun and fellowship while helping your community, you are welcome to join our club!
The Kinette Club of Calgary is a proud member of Alberta's Promise!
